Teacher Toolbox (“the app”) is a free classroom tool for Windows provided by its developer, 박정우 (“the developer”).
The app has no sign-up or log-in.
The developer does not receive or store anything that identifies you, such as your name, contact details or accounts.
When the app goes online, however, your computer's internet address (IP) and similar data reach the servers listed below, so we explain them here.
The Korean version of this policy is the original; this English version is provided for convenience.
| Feature | Connects to | Data sent | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Update check and download (at launch) | GitHub (GitHub, Inc., USA) | IP address, app version, client information | To check for a new version and download it | Not received by the developer. GitHub's policies apply. |
| Start-up ad download (after launch) | Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA) | IP address, client information | To download the ad list and ad image or video | The developer does not store IP addresses. Cloudflare's policies apply. |
| Ad view count (after an ad is shown) | Cloudflare (storage used by the developer) | One ad number | To tell advertisers how many times their ad was shown per day | Only ad number, date and count are stored. Nothing records who saw it. |
| YouTube mini player (only when you open it) | YouTube (Google LLC, USA) | Video link you enter, IP address, cookies used by YouTube | To play the video | The YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy apply. |
| Favorite link titles (only when you save one) | YouTube (Google LLC, USA) | Video link, IP address | To show the video title in the list | YouTube's and Google's policies apply. |
If you click an ad or a link such as this page, your default web browser opens and that website's policies apply from then on.
The following is stored only in the %APPDATA%\teacher-toolbox folder on your computer and is never sent to the developer.
Uninstalling the app and deleting this folder removes all of the above.
All services in section 1 are operated outside Korea, and data reaches them when the app connects directly to their servers.
The developer does not share your personal information with anyone.
Advertisers receive only view counts per ad number and date (statistics), which cannot identify you.
This policy page, ad files and view counts are hosted on Cloudflare's services.
The developer keeps only ad view statistics and deletes them one year after the related ad contract ends.
You can delete the data on your computer yourself (see section 2).
You may ask at any time to access, correct, delete or stop the processing of your personal information.
Because the developer keeps nothing that identifies you, most requests can be answered right away; please use the contact below.
The app is a tool for teachers and instructors, and since it has no sign-up it does not collect children's personal information.
The app itself does not use tracking cookies or device identifiers.
The YouTube player inside the mini player may use cookies and storage; deleting the folder in section 2 removes them too.
The app's YouTube mini player uses YouTube API Services (the YouTube IFrame Player API).
By using it you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy applies.
The app does not ask you to sign in to Google or for any access to your Google account.
You can review and revoke access you gave to other apps on the Google security settings page.

We will post changes on this page 7 days before they take effect.
If something important changes, the app will ask for your agreement again at launch.
